Grand Prix Fotofestiwal
Individual exhibitions selected from projects submitted by photographers and curators. This year, the jury has chosen 12 exhibitions out of 580. The projects, above all, are meant to present the variety of photographic phenomena and new tendencies in photography. There are no restrictions regarding their theme. Such form of the contest allows to find and highlight new projects in photography, as well as new artists, never known in Poland before.

Grand Prix Fotofestiwal is awarded to one artist from the Grand Prix Fotofestiwal programme. Prize: collector’s archival Epson Digigraphie prints. The Grand Prix Fotofestiwal prize is founded by Epson.
The results will be announced during the award ceremony on the 9th of May (Saturday), at 9p.m., Jazzga club, Piotrkowska 17. the 8th of May (Friday) at 8 p.m., EC1, Targowa 1/3, Lodz.

Grand Prix Fotofestiwal 2009 winner
The jury have chosen the “Do” exhibition of Christen Jaspars from Holland as the best of 12 projects presented in this programme. The author received the Fotofestiwal statue and a prize – collector’s archival Epson Digigraphie prints sponsored by Epson.
Special prize was given to Andrej Balco (Slovakia) for exhibition “Domésticas”.
