Grand Prix Fotofestiwal / SanDisk Award

The Grand Prix programme consists of individual exhibitions selected from among the projects submitted by photographers and curators. This year, we received more than 550 applications. The jury of the festival selected 10 projects. There is no common theme of the exhibition, instead, it is meant to be a presentation of some interesting people and topics. For the first time, we are going to show as many as three projects by Polish artists in Grand Prix, for instance photographs by Łukasz Skąpski, who followed in the footsteps of Zofia Rydet, and created a contemporary sociological document of Polish homes and their inhabitants. Other works presented in the Grand Prix programme include Ditte Haarlov Johnsen’s touching and very personal ‘diaries’, Martin Bogren, Fred Huening, and Katrin Trautner with her bold project. This year, the Grand Prix exhibitions are much more reflective than in the previous year, and they create great context for the works presented within the framework of the Main Programme ALL MY LOVIN’.
