Exhibition opening: Marta Ostajewska, SUMMER HONEY CUBES
Księży Młyn is a place where time flows a little slower, between a rusty pump, a row of historic poplars and a factory clock. It is measured by disappearing names, pictures, yellowing negative memories, smells. Honey cubes in summer are meetings recreated in the body and sounds. Performance for moments, smells, sounds of the area. Disappearing choreographies resonate in the body – meetings with those who no longer exist. The body as an archive. Dirt floor full of footprints. Barefoot. Because before entering the house of scheiblers, you have to take off your shoes. And then dance.
Pictures from the dance party at Księży Młyn, “Let’s make the last day of summer,” and sounds from the audio-tours around Księży Młyn, “Roadside – stories trampled down”.
Activity participants are asked to remove their shoes before entering the installation space.
