Exhibition opening: Joanna Dębowska, Man is Wolf to Man?
The presented works take up the subject of human nature, and more specifically, they reflect the views of Thomas Hobbes on human nature. The question is asked in connection with the well-known and identified with the name of this philosopher sentence: homo homini lupus est. The answers turn out to be more complex and lead to the conclusion that the main motive of human action is fear.
Presented works are a diploma from Prof. M. Herbik’s Studio of Photography and Digital Media from the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź.
