Real images of hyperreality created by Anita Osuch is an attempt to synthetically analyze and visualize the process of image migration and the accompanying process of generating meanings and emotions. At the root of the topic are the artist’s experiences related to her involvement in the processes of transformation of post-photographic practices and technologies, which have been extremely intensive in recent years, shaping the new environment of the pictorial universe. The nomadic nature of images – their migration between material and intangible carriers, in the context of augmented reality, is a particularly important feature of contemporary photography for the author. Hybridity and capitalist overproduction drive the circulation of post-photographic activities, leaving little time for reflection and calm work on defining phenomena, often ephemeral or quickly outdated. The excess of images, identified by Jean Baudrillard with a kind of iconoclasm, forces us to act intuitively, with the awareness that the whole remains beyond the horizon of our experience.
