Photography is a great antidepressant. Yulia Shablovskaya and Yulia Lysa, photographers from Belarus and Ukraine, know this well and it is through photography that they find their own way in Poland, which is now their new home. They decided to share their experience and invited young people from Ukraine, Belarus and Poland to a photography workshop.
The workshop was held in May in Lodz, Poland, and the participants learned the basics of the history of photography and analog techniques, how to use a smartphone camera. They also learned how to create their own photographic story using the intuitive photography method and the principles of storytelling. Each workshop was accompanied by strengthening, among other things: creativity and teamwork skills.
The exhibition will feature the results of the workshop.
