KASSEL DUMMY AWARD 2022

International photo book competition with worldwide shortlist exhibition tour

The KASSEL DUMMY AWARD of the FOTOBOOKFESTIVAL KASSEL for the best unpublished photo book design of the year, has been awarding outstanding young talents with the complete publishing production of a book since 2010 and celebrated its 11th edition in 2020. This year, all photographers worldwide are again invited to submit their unpublished photo book designs by September 31, 2021, and participate in the KASSEL DUMMY AWARD 2022. In a first round, a shortlist jury will select the best 50 books for the shortlist at the end of the year. The shortlist will go on a major international exhibition tour to various photography events starting October 2021.

A main jury will then select the three winners from the 50 titles on the shortlist. The first prize will be produced and published by the festival partner MAS Istanbul. Second and third place winners will receive a value voucher for a book production at MAS.
