Frame - International Photographic Competition04/11/2010
About the competition
FRAME is an annual international photographic competition for professional photographers and students of schools of photography from The Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary with results announced at the beginning of every December.
The objective of FRAME is to provide photographers with a recognized public forum for creative expression. It supports them as artists who provoke, ask questions and express opinions, and by doing so, promote cultural values in society.
FRAME is oriented exclusively towards professional photographers and students of photographic schools and places no restrictions on their choice of genres or photographic technique.
FRAME is a sponsored photographic competition organized by FOTOGRAFIKS and photo group Jasan.
Results are decided by a seven-member panel of experts. Jurors in previous years have been Jana Bömerová, Pavel Dias, Eva Heyd, Miroslav Hladík, Aleš Kuneš, Josef Moucha, Ivan Pinkava, Iren Stehli, Jindřich Štreit, Miroslav Vojtěchovský.
Awarded works are organized into one exhibit and displayed at several exhibitions during the year.
The exhibit is accompanied by a catalog featuring the awarded works.
