POLÓWKA at Piotrkowska: film premieres “The Other Refugees”, dir. Mohammed Almughanni & “Shadows”, dir. Ola & Rami Shaya
Fotofestiwal is not only photography. This year, we will invite you to screenings of two films produced on our behalf. Unique films, because they concern the most current phenomena in Poland and Europe, as seen through the eyes of directors from Syria and Palestine.
“The Other Refugees”, dir. Mohammed Almughanni
A close-up observation to the crisis of Ukrainian refugees on the Polish borders. The elderly, women, children, including foreigners who were residing in Ukraine and were forced to flee too. The documentary is presented through the perspective of the international humanitarian volunteers while they provide assistance and food to refugees and their pets that accompany them on the journey.
“Shadows”, dir. Ola Shaya & Rami Shaya
