New visual identification of Fotofestiwal

Fotofestiwal is pleased to cooperate for the third time with the graphic studio and the creative agency Progressivo. Together, we have prepared a new version of the visual identity of the festival for you. We present the story behind graphic designs. We are very glad that our ideas for identification were liked by the artists participating in Fotofestiwal 2021 and they agreed to use their works.

In the program of this year’s edition you will be able to see, among others presentations of the most interesting achievements of artists associated with Łódź, which have become a permanent part of the canon of Polish art. Exhibitions referring to the history of the city of Łódź will be a very interesting point. We will show, among others frames that were recorded by Wiktor Jekimenko, but in a completely new version, because it was colored by Stefan Brajter. The originals are kept in their archives by Veolia Energia Łódź. International exhibitions are always a large part of Fotofestiwal. This year there will be, among others Open Program finalists! We hope that soon we will have the opportunity to present these materials in the space of your cities.

We also recommend your attention to the effects of cooperation in the field of media relations with the Pracownia Szumu agency: every two weeks the Przekrój magazine presents new projects from our section of the Open Program. The first to be presented was the Iranian photographer Sima Choubdarzadeh and her extremely moving project “My name is fear”.
