The Odlot Gallery is run by the charges of the ‘House on the Estate’ community. This community embraces ten people with intellectual disabilities who execute original improvement programme, show that people sentenced to inert existence in social welfare homes and often also at family home can lead rewarding lives and work creatively. They have been learning and working five days a week for many years in an art studio, mastering their already obtained skills and getting the new ones. They create works in the fields of painting, traditional and computer graphics, artistic installation, tapestry, objects of daily use etc., according to their own ideas and designs. You can find the above mentioned items on the exhibition, you can also watch the film with pantomime improvisation etudes and meet artists, who are hosts of the exhibition.

The “Odlot” exhibiton combines permanently evolving gallery works and photographic coverage which is the result of the photographer staying together with the people from the ‘House on the Estate’. All these elements create the image of life and works of its members, showing extraordinary, sensitive and talented people. Their life, passion and work they do giving a piece of themselves.
