22.06, 11:00 – Laboratory of the Future – workshop with elements of guided tours of the Henrik Spohler exhibition (5-7 years)
During our workshop, the participants will become scientists working on machines for exploring the universe, its history and the future. Henri Spohler’s exhibition “Hypothesis” will be an inspiration for us to talk about the work of scientists investigating various forms of human contact with nature, what contributes to the development of humanity but also what seemingly invisible and elusive study of human relationship with time and matter.
22.06, 13:00 – We discover the world of photography – a family field game in the space of Fotofestiwal exhibitions (6-12 years)
A joint field game taking place in the spaces of Fotofestiwal exhibitions will take children and parents into the world of photography, contemporary but also archival. Joint performance of the prepared tasks will be a motivation for conversations about photography as well as searching for hidden meanings and details. Tasks will allow a more detailed and detailed look at the presented photos. It will be time for a shared story telling, reflection on what you can not see at first glance, talks about feelings and emotions that accompany viewing photography. It will be an exciting game full of experience and new experiences. We ask that participants have a camera with them.
23.06, 10:30 – Following Cultures and Beliefs – workshop with elements of guided tours of the exhibition of Piotr Zbierski and Nicola Lo Calzo (7-10 years)
During the workshop, we will learn about various rituals prevailing among the tribes of different regions of the world. We will consider what role shamans and whispers played in ancient cultures. We will interpret ritual paintings and make our own. The exhibitions “Echo of Echo” by Piotr Zbierski and “Mythologies of resistence” by Nicola Lo Calzo will introduce us to the subject of beliefs, rituals and traditions. The participants will perform the ritual masks of the shamans themselves.

15.06, 11:00 – 13:00 – Magic of the photo darkroom – my frame heliography (7-14 years), enrollments until 13.06

During the meeting, the participants will learn about the magical world of the traditional photographic darkroom and one of the analog photographic techniques – heliography. Children will perform the heliography themselves – a picture with an image of different objects with different transparency obtained through photosensitive properties of photographic paper, reagents and light. Each participant will take with him a black and white print, framed in a self-made frame.

16.06, 11:00 – 13:00 – Photos in the Color of the Sky – Cyanotope
(7-14 years), enrollments until 13.06
Persons conducting the workshop: Monika Kryszczynska and Agnieszka Furtak
Children will learn the principles of the formation of cyanotype, the basic principles and types of compositions, and create their own images that they will later take with them. The specially prepared paper will prepare compositions of dried leaves and flowers. Images prepared in this way will be exposed in UV light and rinsed several times in clean water until the appropriate depth of color is achieved. As a result, blue photograms will be created.

22.06, 11:00 – 13:00 – Freeze movement – paint with light! (7-14 years), enrollments until 20/06

The workshop is run in a darkened studio and in the open air. In the workshop, participants of the classes build a photographic image on the canvas combining the property of the camera, which is an extended time of exposure (shutter) with movement and light. In the outdoors, children and adolescents, using a very short exposure time and painting film, implement scenes related to freezing movement. The workshop’s summary is a demonstration made during the meeting. All photographic realizations will be sent to the email.
