Shortlist for the Photographic Publication of the Year 2026
We know the shortlist for the 2026 Polish Photographic Publication of the Year – the winners will be announced on June 18th!
It’s time to announce the shortlist for the 2026 Polish Photographic Publication of the Year! The jury, composed of experts in bookmaking and photography, selected the final shortlist from which the title of Photo Publication of the Year, the Krzysiek Makowski Grand Prize, and additional distinctions will be awarded.
The Polish Photographic Publication of the Year recognizes publications that can inspire through bold concepts, refined graphic design, outstanding printing quality, exceptional photography, and thoughtful editorial design. This is the 16th edition of the competition, which each year gathers the most interesting titles from the Polish publishing and self-publishing scene.

The results will be announced on June 18 during the opening of the Fotofestiwal in Łódź. The publications will be available to the public throughout the festival at the festival centers in Art_Inkubator at Fabryka Sztuki and at the Biedermann Palace of the University of Łódź.
Congratulations to all the authors and creators of the shortlisted publications, and sincere thanks to all authors, publishers, and self-publishers who submitted their work to the competition.
