Virgílio Ferreira is the founder of Ci.CLO Platform of Photography and the artistic director of Bienal Fotografia do Porto. Master of Photography from the University of Brighton, UK. In the last 20 years he has been developing transversal projects in the area of artistic creation, training and programming in partnership with several museums, municipalities, cultural centers and art schools in Portugal and abroad, namely Oporto City Hall, Triennial of Photography Hamburg, Fundação de Serralves, Fundação Eugénio de Almeida, Fotofestiwal Poland and School of Visual in New York.
As an artist, his work has been exhibited in Europe, the Middle East, the United States,
and South East Asia.
