Founder and artistic director of Photolux Festival the biennial of photography in Lucca. He has curated several exhibitions. He’s the Director of Photolux Magazine.

He has been a jury member in various places around the world such as The Manuel Rivera-Ortiz Foundation Grant, FOTODOC Center for Documentary Photography at Sakharov center, Photolucida – Critical Mass and Gomma Grant, ArteLaguna Prize – Venezia, HeadOn Festival – Sydney, Leica Oskar Barnack Award – Germany, Kuala Lumpur International Photoaward -Malaysia.
He was member of the Nominating committee of Joop Swart Masterclass at the World Press Photo Foundation until 2018.
He is a member of the Nominating committee for the “6 x 6” at World Press Photo Foundation and the Leica Oskar Barnack Award.
