On September 23rd, the Unseen photo fair in Amsterdam ended, with a strong representation of Polish photography.

Lena Dobrowolska with Teo Ormond-Skeaping, Karolina Jonderko, Diana Lelonek, Anna Orłowska, Paweł Jaszczuk and Łukasz Rusznica are the selected artists for activities by the Futures platform. They took part in masterclass sessions conducted by representatives of leading European photographic institutions, including Fotofestiwal, represented by Justyna Kociszewska. The work of all photographers invited to Futures could be seen at Unseen at Futures Narratives and Futures Talent Pool exhibitions.

At the fair, you could also came across to a booth of the Fotofestiwal media partner: the Blow Up Press publishing house (doc!photo magazine), and the Jednostka Gallery, presenting the works of Weronika Gęsicka and Rafał Milach, and the portfolio of Maciej Pisuk and Tomek Tyndyk. The finalist of the Grand Prix Fotofestiwal 2018, Jaakko Kahilaniemi, won the ING Unseen Talent Award.

It’s not over! In two days in Göteborg (28-29.09) you will be able to see the Polish Paradise exhibition devoted to photo books. This exhibition was prepared on the initiative of Fotofestiwal for the Triennial of Photography in Hamburg (a container town) – it will now have its second installment. We invite you to the Hasselblad Center for the Fotobok Festival.
