On March 11 in Warsaw, as part of Dzień Fotografii, the Photographic Publication of the Year 2017 exhibition co-organized by Fotofestiwal will be shown.
The Photographic Publication of the Year 2017 is an exhibition of fifteen of the best and most interesting photographic books in Poland published in 2017, which were selected based on the open-call. Every year, the Jury selects publications that are bold and ambitious in approaching the medium of the book. The prize winner is announced during the opening of the Fotofestiwal, and the Festival center features an exhibition of the finalists’ works. The exhibition of finalists from 2017 will be shown for the first time in Warsaw, in the Służewski Dom Kultury. Open-call for Photographic Publication of the Year 2018 will start soon and information about it can be found on our website and co-organizers information channels.
In addition to the exhibition of photo books, the program of Dzień Fotografii will include lectures, photographic action of Wojciech Grzędziński “Faces of Poles” and workshops, and the guests of the event will include: Marek Arcimowicz, Krystian Bielatowicz, a collective of street photographers Un-Posed.
