Erik Vroons is the editor-at-large for GUP Magazine, an international platform for art/documentary photography. Previously, between 2010-2015, he functioned as the Chief Editor (print). Furthermore, he is a freelance writer on photography and a consultant for professionals who are in the process of completing a project. Occasionally, he organizes workshops on project development. He has an academic background such as MA in Photographic Studies (University in Leiden) and MA in Media Studies (University in Amsterdam).
