( ether o ) Chia-Liang Lai is an interdisciplinary artist with a background in sculpture. Drawing on the concept of sculptural time, they work across various time-based media, including sound, video, installation, and performance. Their practice focuses on sound and listening as approaches to exploring embodied storytelling and worldbuilding. They were born in Taipei and currently live and work in Berlin.
