Documentary photographs of Adrian Chmielewski s reveal his connection to music and underground club culture. In these images, music is, above all, collective ecstasy, intimacy, and intense moments that vanish with the final kick drum. This is a visual record of contemporary club and festival culture, created by an artist who is not merely an observer behind the lens, but a full-fledged participant and insider of this scene. His photographs are atmospheric, almost cinematic stories about light, night, and the human need for community. This visual narrative is based on tension and emotion – in the images, you can almost physically feel the sweat, the vibration of the speakers, and the warmth of the crowd.

The exhibition invites you to delve into the depths of festival euphoria and club darkness. It is a story of night which, thanks to Adrian Chmielewski’s unique perspective, becomes a captivating record of alternative music culture.

Thanks to a collaboration with the Audioriver festival, of which PKO Bank Polski is the main partner, the exhibition opening will feature a DJ set by Rusałka – Łukasz Warna-Wiesławski, DJ, promoter, music journalist, and founder of the Tańce record label.
