DUMMY AWARD 2025

International Photo Book Competition with Worldwide Shortlist-Exhibition Tour

The Dummy Award is the international competition for the best unpublished photobook mock-up of the year. Since 2010 a lot of highly interesting photobook dummies have been created, produced and published thanks to the award. Hundreds of books from the shortlist have been presented in numerous international exhibitions and participating photographers have been able to establish contacts with galleries, publishers and festivals and present their work to an international audience. Starting 2023 the PhotoBookMuseum, Cologne together with its sponsor and partner MAS Matbaa, Istanbul has taken over the award.

During Fotofestiwal you will see 50 books from all over the world selected from 395 books from 48 countries that were submitted for the 2025 Dummy Award.
