The festival redefines itself every year and is held under a different name.
“Ravekjavík ZEN” is the name of the 9th edition of the Ravekjavík festival.

WHY RAVEKJAVÍK ZEN?

Because stillness is not silence, but balance. Because dancing is not escaping, but being here and now. Ravekjavík ZEN is meditation in motion, a rhythm that brings order to chaos.

WHERE AND WHEN IS THE RAVEKJAVÍK ZEN HAPPENING? 

The festival is organized every year in historic, post-industrial spaces. This year’s edition will be held on 14.06.2025 in the former textile warehouses at 52 Niciarniana Street.

FESTIVAL RAVEKJAVÍK IS: 

– The only festival promoting the post-industrial heritage of Lodz.
– One of the few festivals for years practicing gender parity of artists.
– Promoting the work of young artists from different art disciplines
– Presenting electronic music by artists from lesser-known geographies
