PUBLIC PRESENTATIONS&nbsp;<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From all submitted projects, 10 artists will be selected to give a 5-minute public presentation of their projects to the audience of Fotofestiwal &#8211; International Festival of Photography, taking place 18-28 June 2026 in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a (Poland). The event will be included in the main programme of Fotofestiwal and will take place between 26 to 28 June 2026 (one day).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>WHAT SELECTED AUTHORS RECEIVE:<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Licence fee: 350 PLN gross<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coverage of accommodation costs for the day of the Public Presentations&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coverage of documented travel costs to and from \u0141\u00f3d\u017a, up to the limit specified in the agreement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promotion through Fotofestiwal\u2019s communication channels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">PART 2. ONLINE CATALOGUE IN PDF FORMAT<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From all submitted projects, 15-30 projects will be selected for publication in an online PDF catalogue, which will be disseminated through Fotofestiwal\u2019s online channels and within local and international professional networks.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The catalogue will include: a selection of photographs, an introductory text, and artists\u2019 biographies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finalists selected for Public Presentations may be included in the catalogue automatically if they also express interest in Part 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">PART 3. RESIDENCY<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">10 photographers will be invited to participate in the 1-week residency in Poland to develop their personal projects and\/or dummy books.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A preliminary list of photographers recommended for participation will be prepared by the competition jury. The final decision will be made by the Organizer, based on: the jury\u2019s recommendations, individual interviews with the recommended artists, and the individual situation of each artist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>WHAT SELECTED AUTHORS RECEIVE:<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Accommodation and subsistence for the Residency period<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coverage of documented travel costs, up to the limit specified in the agreement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Workshops led by photography specialists.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The detailed residency programme will be announced at least two months in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Residency dates: October 2026<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">MEET THE JURY<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.viristvan.com\/index.php\/contact\/bio\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Istv\u00e1n Vir\u00e1gv\u00f6lgyi<\/mark><\/a> is Artistic Director of the Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Center. He previously worked as head of photography at Origo and MTI Hungarian News Agency. A curator, photo editor, and lecturer, he has taught documentary photography, photo editing, and photo history at leading Hungarian universities. Since 2014 he has been a curator at Capa Center, serving also as secretary of the Capa Grand Prize Hungary and editor of the Weekly Fortepan blog. He is a board member of the P\u00e9csi J\u00f3zsef Photography Scholarship and a volunteer editor of the Fortepan digital archive. She holds MAs in Philosophy (Belarusian State University, Minsk), Sociology (European Humanities University, Vilnius), and Curatorial Studies (Academy of Fine Arts, Leipzig), and is a member of the International Association of Art Critics (AICA). She has curated exhibitions and research projects with institutions across Europe, including Badischer Kunstverein, GfZK Leipzig, Museum Sztuki in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a, and ifa Gallery in Berlin. A graduate of the \u00c9cole du Louvre, she has supported emerging and socially engaged photography for over 15 years. Since 2014, she has been a member of the Fetart collective and part of the artistic committee of the Circulation(s) festival in Paris. She co-developed The Anonymous Project (2017-2021), curating exhibitions including The House at the Rencontres d\u2019Arles (2019).
