Host
Yulia Shablovskaya – Belarusian documentary photographer, journalist, founder of the photography department at the only independent Belarusian TV station Belsat and originator of the “New Home” project – a project in which photography and art therapy came together to help children and young people from Belarus and Ukraine, forced to emigrate, go through this experience and tell about it through photography. Julia believes that photography, with its ability to observe and analyze what is going on around them, becomes an ideal tool to help them deal with their emotions, to focus on their condition in this situation. And this is exactly what the photographer intends to inspire the participants to do during the photographic part of the “New Home #Lodz” workshop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
