Open Program exhibitions announced
The Open Program provides an overview of current phenomena in photography and a look at topics of interest to photographers. Each year, the jury strives to prepare a coherent but diverse selection that best reflects currently relevant narratives.
Among this year’s submissions committed projects dealing with socially important issues such as climate change, identity, roots, war conflicts, and minorities were present, but there were also many very personal stories.
From among 1639 projects, the jury selected works by six artists:
Claudia Fuggetti “Metamorphosis” / Italy
Akshay Mahajan “People of Clay” / India
Carlos Idun-Tawiah “Hero, Father, Friend” / Ghana
Emilia Martin “I saw a tree bearing stones in the place of apples and pears” / Poland/Netherlands
Hannes Jung “Men don’t cry” / Germany
Massimiliano Corteselli “Contrapasso” / Italy/Germany
CONGRATULATIONS! You’ll be able to see their work during the upcoming Fotofestiwal – between 12-22.06.2025 in Lodz, Poland.
