Curator, photographer, photography researcher. Since 2015 – founder and director of the international festival Odesa Photo Days (www.thephotoday.org). Since 2009 – head of the NGO “Art Travel” (Odesa). Studied photography during the fellowship program at Villa Arson (Nice, France), during the Gaude Polonia program (Warsaw; curator – Adam Mazur), and at the Museum of Photography (San Diego, USA).
Studied curatorship at the Intercult organization (Stockholm, Sweden) and during the Curator’s Platform project at PinchukArtCenter (Kyiv, Ukraine).
Lectures and work-shops at the School of Visual Communications (Kyiv, Ukraine); the Cultural Project (Kyiv, Ukraine); the George Washington University (Washington D.C., USA); and the Photo Traveler School of Photography (Odesa, Ukraine).
“I consider photography as an alternative media to tell stories and visualize problems. I am interested in covering social issues through visual images. I’m also interested in mix media, photo installations, public space interventions and work with archives”.
