A family open-air game, instant photography workshops with Dawid Furkot and Sklep bez Nazwy or a meeting with Mathieu Asselin, the author of Monsanto®: Photographic Investigations. This is one of the many attractions of the Fotofestiwal closing weekend.
We invite you to Insta-Saturday! Young photo enthusiasts will have the opportunity to participate in a field game, during which together with their parents will gradually discover the space of Fotofestival exhibitions. We will talk about photography, search for hidden meanings and show how parents and children can play together during visiting the exhibitions.
For instant photography lovers, we have prepared workshops on instant photography. In cooperation with Sklep bez Nazwy, you will be able to learn how to make the perfect “Instax” photo under the supervision of Dawid Furkot. And then, we strongly recommend the screening of the unusual document: Polaroid. Instant dreams dir. by Willem Baptist. At the pre-premiere show you will learn not only how the iconic Polaroids were created, but also you will be surprised by a few overthrown myths about these cameras and photos.
In the evening, we plan the pure madness! The Academy of Bad Films by Pleśń will present “The Food of the Gods”, dir. Berta I. Gordon in the Bodo Cinema at 9 pm (Revolution 1906 78/80, free admission). This is an obligatory position for B-class cinema fans – what’s more, the screening is planned with a live voice-over!
We end the Saturday madness with the Foto-Funkostan party in Niebostan (Piotrkowska 17). Drums and trumpets will go in motion – you can not miss it! With a pass or a ticket, entry is free, without the accreditation it costs 10 PLN.
