An exhibition of works by two young people, starting their adventure with photography of people who are looking for own visual language and learn about the specificity of the medium. Lack of unambiguous interpretive keys and simultaneous reference to the classic ones implementation of informel and graphic art, shows the continuity of the tradition of imaging and at the same time creative ferment introduced by the young generation.
Hanna Musiałek
Born in 1998 in New York, student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź with a specialization Photography and Multimedia. Guide and enthusiast of the Lodz region. In her works she eagerly discusses topics related to the human being – her behaviors, stories and the environment. For the artist, clarity is also an important aspect when creating and the aesthetics that most often go towards minimalism.
Jan Kazimierz Barnaś
He was born in Sandomierz on September 12, 1991; currently permanently associated with Lodz. Student Faculty of Visual Arts of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź in the specialty of Photography and Multimedia. In his works, he often takes up the subject of the destruction of the photographic image. Negative is subjected to chemical reactions, colored, scratched, flamed. In addition to photography, his main interest is film and video art. As the cinematographer on his account, he has several etudes, video-arts, animations, music videos.
